My name is Tina. I’m a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, a Children’s Yoga Teacher, a wife, and a mother. I live a fairly well-balanced life as a spiritual girl in a material world. However, that was not always the case.
My spiritual journey began when I hit rock bottom in 2008. It was a time in my life when a lot of change was happening and severe anxiety took over, my IBS was at its worst and my husband and I had no idea of the fertility issues ahead of us. With the support of a spiritual teacher, Berdhanya Swami Tierra (who remains my teacher today) I developed useful tools, including meditation to help me overcome my fears and anxiety. I became a better version of my old self. This drove me to explore the holistic world further.
After becoming a certified Children’s Yoga Teacher in 2009, I went on to graduate as a Holistic Nutritionist from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2013. Shortly after I completed Gabby Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass.
Since becoming a mom, I’ve learned that my daughter is my greatest teacher and motherhood is the triathlon of the heart. It takes endurance to manage family, home and activity calendars while juggling a career. It requires patience and continuous learning to raise a family.
I am passionate about motivating others to lead happier and healthier lives. I create personalized nutrition and customized wellness plans for children, adults, and families with the intention to bring balance to one’s life. Just as adults do, children need tools to help them navigate the stress of this ‘hurry up’ world we live in. It is my joy to introduce mindfulness to children through the practice of yoga and share all the tools in my toolbox.
